Himachal Trekking Tour

The Himachal trekking tour is a breathtaking journey through the majestic landscapes of northern India. The tour begins in Delhi, from where we head to Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, and then onwards to Sarahan, a small town surrounded by apple orchards and dense forests. The next stop is Sangla, a picturesque valley known for its beautiful meadows and apple orchards. From there, we move to Kalpa, a charming village that offers a stunning view of the Kinner Kailash peak. The tour also covers Nako, Tabo, and Kazzo, three remote villages that are renowned for their ancient monasteries and scenic beauty. Moving further, we visit Trilokinath, a revered pilgrimage site, and then head to Keylong, a mountainous town situated at an altitude of 3,350 meters. The tour concludes in Manali, where we visit the famous hot springs of Manikaran, and then continue on to Mandi and Chandigarh before returning to Delhi. DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival in Delhi, our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. You can explore the bustling markets, sample delicious street food, or visit some of the famous historical sites in Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02: DELHI-SHIMLA
After breakfast, we will drive to Shimla, the summer capital of British India. On arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. In the evening, you can take a leisurely walk around the famous Mall Road and visit the Ridge, Lower Bazar, and Kali Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03: SHIMLA-SARAHAN
After breakfast, we will drive to Sarahan via Kufri, Fagu, Mahasu Peak, and Narkanda. On the way, we will stop at Rampur and Jeori for a short break. Sarahan is a beautiful town situated at an altitude of 2,313 meters and is known for its Bhimkali Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel or tent.

DAY 04: SARAHAN-SANGLA
After breakfast, we will drive to Sangla, located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. On the way, we will visit the Bhimkali Temple and Karcham. Sangla Valley is a picturesque valley known for its apple orchards and the Baspa River. We will also visit the Hydro Electric project. Overnight stay at the hotel or tent.

DAY 05: SANGLA-KALPA
After breakfast, we will visit the Kamru Fort and Kinnaur Apple Orchards. We will also visit the villages of Chitkul, Raksham, Rekong Peo, and Kalpa. Kalpa is a small town known for its breathtaking views of the Kinner Kailash peak. Overnight stay at the hotel or tent.

DAY 06: KALPA SIGHTSEING
After breakfast, we will visit the Kinner Kailash Viewpoint, Shiv Mountains, Chini Village, and Rogi Village. We will also visit Suicide Point, which offers stunning views of the valley. Overnight stay at the hotel or tent.

DAY 07: KALPA-NAKO
After breakfast, we will drive to Nako, situated at an altitude of 3,662 meters. On the way, we will visit Powari, Pooh, Chango, Khat Valley, and Mulling Nallah. We will also visit the Tabo Monastery, known as the Ajanta of the Himalayas. Overnight stay at the hotel or tent.

Day 08: NAKO-TABO
After breakfast, we will visit the Tabo Monastery, which is one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in the world. We will also visit the Mulling Nallah and explore the beauty of the Spiti Valley. Overnight stay at the hotel or tent.

DAY 09: TABO-KAZZA
After breakfast, we will drive to Kaza, the capital of the Spiti district. On the way, we will visit the Dhankar Monastery and the Spiti Castle. In the evening, we will explore the local market and sample some traditional Spitian cuisine. Overnight stay at the hotel or tent.

DAY 10: KAZZA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, we will visit the Kee Monastery and the Kiber Valley, which is one of the highest inhabited valleys in the world. We will also explore the local village and interact with the friendly locals. Overnight stay at

DAY 11: KAZZA-TRILOKINATH
After breakfast, you will visit the Trilokinath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the most revered shrines in Himachal Pradesh. The temple is located in the village of Trilokinath, which is around 4 km from Udaipur. The temple is an architectural marvel and has been constructed with stone and wood carvings. The walls of the temple are adorned with beautiful murals and paintings, which depict scenes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana.

After visiting the temple, you will explore the nearby areas of Udaipur and Keylong. You will get to see the beautiful landscapes and scenic views of the region. You can also interact with the locals and learn about their culture and way of life. In the evening, you will return to your hotel in Kazza and spend the night there.

DAY 12: KEYLONG-MANALI
After breakfast, you will drive to Manali, which is a beautiful hill station located in the Kullu Valley. En route, you will visit Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley, Rani Nallah and Rahalla Fall. Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass that connects Manali to the Lahaul and Spiti district. Solang Valley is a popular destination for adventure activities like skiing, paragliding and zorbing. Rani Nallah and Rahalla Fall are scenic waterfalls located on the way to Rohtang Pass.

Upon arrival in Manali, you will check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 13: MANALI SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, you will visit some of the popular tourist attractions in Manali. You will first visit the Hadimba Temple, which is a beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba. The temple is surrounded by lush green forests and is a popular spot for tourists. You will then visit the Club House, which is a recreational centre that offers various activities like pool, table tennis, video games and more. Next, you will visit the Vashisht Bath, which is a natural hot spring that is believed to have medicinal properties. You can take a dip in the hot spring and rejuvenate yourself. Finally, you will visit the Tibetan Monastery, which is a serene place of worship and has a beautiful architecture.

In the evening, you can explore the local markets and indulge in some shopping. You will spend the night at your hotel in Manali.

DAY 14: MANALI-MANDI (VIA MANIKARAN)
After breakfast, you will drive to Mandi. En route, you will visit Manikaran, which is a small town located on the banks of River Parvati. Manikaran is known for its hot springs, which are believed to have healing properties. You can take a dip in the hot springs and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding mountains.

Upon arrival in Mandi, you will check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the local markets and taste some of the delicious local cuisine. You will spend the night at your hotel in Mandi.

DAY 15: MANDI-CHANDIGARH
After breakfast, you will drive to Chandigarh, which is a modern city and is the capital of both Punjab and Haryana. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, you will check into your hotel and rest for a while.

DAY16 CHANDIGARH - DELHI
On Day 16, after breakfast at the hotel in Chandigarh, you will check out and start your journey back to Delhi. The drive will take around 4-5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. This marks the end of your 16-day tour of North India's stunning Himalayan region.
