Bhuntar

Bhuntar is a tiny hamlet comes under Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. It is the main entrance to the Kullu Dsitrct.While Bhuntar sits directly at the Sangam of 'Beas and Parvati' Rivers, there is an amazing rush of pristine beauty all around the place. Lofty mountains, fast flowing rivers with low banks, springs flowing from the mountainside and chirping of birds give a wholesome dose of spectacular natural wilderness.With ancient temples dotting the tiny rustic township at Bhutar, it is also known for the famous Bushweshwar Temple in Bajaura village which is approx. 5 km. from the village of Bhuntar. The Bushweshwar Temple is known as the biggest and to most people, one of the most beautiful temples within the Valley of Kullu. It was built in the 9th century upon the Shankracharya Padhati of the Panch Dev Puja, in the design of a pyramid
